A Lockheed L-1011 Tristar plane is submerged in the Red Sea in Aqaba, on 26 Aug. 2019. The Aqaba sunk a disused commercial aircraft to Aqaba's Underwater Military Museum Dive Site to help boost marine life. The photo was taken at the Main Port of Aqaba where the plane was prepared for sinking. The first user of this aircraft was the airline Royal Jordanian Airlines reg. JY-AGJ delivery in 1985, TAP Air Portugal reg. CS-TEG, Air India reg. V2-LEK, Novair reg. SE-DVI, Air Luxor reg. CS-TMP, Luzair.
