One of the two ancient Martin Mars water bomber planes based on Sproat Lake and the last one active in 2011. While the Philippine Mars is stored uncontracted on land, Hawaii Mars was contracted to the state of BC. Most of the summer it was sitting on standby at Sproat Lake, luckily it performed a test flight later that day. This was also the first time for me to shoot an aircraft "water-to-water"
