Notes:

This Ouragan or Toofani (Hindi: Hurricane) is among the first four flown to India. Juxtapositioned side by side at IAF Museum Palam, one can see design commonality in the cruciform-tail design between the Ouragan and Mystère IVA. The Ouragan has a split rudder with a trim tab on the upper section. Its airbrake as visible opens to 70? and the tailplane is swept back at 24°. By comparison, the Mystère has all-moving tailplanes swept back at 42°, the increased sweep increasing the critical Mach number.
