[Full HD/1920px] After a morning spotting in Luqa, I made a quick hop to the former RAF Hal Far airfield (15 minutes away from LMML) where the International Safety Training College (ISTC) is located, to catch my very first BAC 1-11, sadly in a quite poor state, used for firefighting training. Built in 1970, this frame was towed from Malta Intl. Airport to this place in 2006 and is there ever since. In the ISTC, one can also find a former Royal Navy Westland Sea King HAS.6, ZD633, used for the same purposes.
