UTair Aviation handed this helicopter to the laboratory AVIATEST for endurance tests.On October 25, 2003 the flight of the Mi-26 helicopter along the route Tyumen - Yekaterinburg - Kazan - Moscow - Riga ended with a landing at the site near the Aviatest hangar. The tests of the Mi-26 at Aviatest lasted 17 years. On the basis of the results design modifications were made to double the service life of all Mi-26 helicopters.
