Close-cropped view of the Instrument Panel of RAAF DHA Vampire T.35 A79-665 Cn 4187 (Callsign VM-HTU), at Albion Park Airport YWOL near Wollongong NSW, on 01May2016. The occasion was the 2016 Wings Over Illawarra (WOI) Airshow. On Retirement, A79-665 was displayed at the TVW-7 Museum in Perth. Later became part of the collection of the now defunct West Australian Museum of Aviation located at Jandakot Airport. It was restored by 25 Sqn at RAAF Pearce for the museum. In 1994 it was advertised for sale at $20,000, and Sold to Craig Turner, before being moved to HARS. (Ref: ADF-Serials.) The aircraft has since been restored by Volunteers at the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS), based at Albion Park.
