Dunking Survivor - Low Key view of the Flight Deck/ Instrument Panel of Australian Army Bell UH-1H A2-110 Cn 11110 (FMS 68-16451), taken at the Australian Vietnam Veterans Museum, Newhaven, Phillip Island, Victoria on 09Nov2014. This ex-RAAF UH-1H has a ‘Night-Vision Goggles’ compatible black-painted instrument panel, and is displayed in a dark hangar. A2-110 was Operated by RAAF 9 Squadron as a UH-1H Bushranger from Vung Tau, South Vietnam. Damaged 1969/70 when it landed in coastal mudflats in Vietnam and sunk after an emergency landing. Transferred to Army Aviation 12/89-01/90, and trucked to Newhaven in June 2012. (Ref: ADF-Serials.)
