Rare Four-Ship F-111C Formation Dump and Burn. The Fifth Anniversary of Retirement of the RAAF F-111 fleet was 03Dec2015. Prior to Retirement, the most popular F-111 Airshow ‘Party Trick’ was a solo F-111 Dump and Burn demonstration (dumping fuel with Afterburners On – leaving a long flame behind the aircraft). This front Stbd view of Four F-111Cs doing a low level formation pass, while doing the famous Dump and Burn, was photographed at RAAF Base Amberley (YAMB) on 28Mar1976. F-111C A8-148 Cn D1-24 was in this Formation, and also flew the Solo F-111 display at this airshow.
