Rare outdoor photo of USAF F-111F Aardvark 70-2390 Cn E2-29 Code LN, outside the USAF Museum hangars at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), KFFO, on 28Jul2015. The 'Pave Tack' /AIM-9 /LGB equipped Aardvark had been moved outside in preparation for some work in the Restoration hangar. The aircraft wears Camo livery, as operated by the 48th Tactical Fighter Wing from Lakenheath UK. Nose Art is ‘Miss Liberty II’ and the banner on the tail (above the letters ‘TFW’) was awarded for the ‘El Dorado Canyon’ strike on Libya. The aircraft also took part in Operation Desert Storm.
