This was the second run through the Loop for this crew on this day. I managed the North Face of Bluebell, a slightly alarming 45% climb that steepens at the top and serves to confirm the effects of ageing on the human frame. Good for the lungs though, and worth it when this happens… Thanks go to the WSO who acknowledged me with a cheery clenched-fist salute – I was the only photographer up there.
