(1920 pix) A uniquely Singaporean view of this SG50 liveried SQ A380 on her home turf, Changi Airport, as seen from the eighth floor of Crowne Plaza Changi Airport. This perspective affords as complete a view of the celebratory livery as possible. We admire her from a slightly higher vantage point, enough to clear obstructions like the wing, yet not too high that would lead to vanished detail. This special livery commemorates Singapore's Golden Jubilee (50th Birthday) and comprises a 10m-tall and 47m-long Singapore flag-themed design on both sides of the fuselage. Elements of this livery include the stylised flag on the fuselage as well as an SQ logo and Majulah Singapura Our Golden Jubilee titles on the underbelly. This aircraft is photographed as she taxis to runway 20C for departure to Hong Kong as SQ856. Happy 50th Birthday, Singapore!
