Low res photo taken on board USS Intrepid on the Hudson River New York on 06Jun1994, the 50th Anniversary of D-Day. In this view, the most prominent aircraft on the deck of the ‘Intrepid Sea Air Space Museum’ is USAF Lockheed A-12 Blackbird 60-6925 Cn 122, with an F-4 Phantom and other US Navy aircraft at rear. It seems incongruous that a Mach 3 land-based USAF aircraft should be on a US Navy aircraft carrier, but the Museum name covers this situation. (However, British Airways Concorde G-BOAD is more incongruous.) Photo uploaded to mark the 71st Anniversary of D-Day (06Jun2015).
