[1920px] EK506 glides down on runway 14 from DXB. A sight that will no longer be seen, EK no longer operates the A330 to BOM and the ATC tower in the background is now demolished as a new ATC is now up and running near the domestic terminal. The old ATC tower as seen in the photo was very close to runway 14 and airlines like SQ did not like using this runway and opted to change their timings when the primary runway (09/27) had to be closed for maintenance and 14/32 would be used.
