Presenting Singapore Airlines's first A380 to be clad in commemorative livery for Singapore's Golden Jubilee (50th Birthday) that comprises a 10m-tall and 47m-long Singapore flag-themed design on both sides of the fuselage. Elements of this livery include the stylised flag on the fuselage as well as an SQ logo and Majulah Singapura Our Golden Jubilee titles on the underbelly. The livery was only unveiled yesterday and the opportunity arises for spotters to photograph her as she returns from her functional air test as SQ8898 sailing over Changi Beach. I take this opportunity to applaud SQ's bold move to venture again into special liveries and I plead the Blood of the Lamb over this aircraft keeping her free from mishap. Happy 50th Birthday, Singapore.
