EK marked the inauguration of Delhi's new integrated Terminal 3 by sending it's whale-jet on a commemoration flight. The weather on that day, suddenly turned for the worse, with heavy showers almost spoiling the occasion. The aircraft first did a low pass and then landed in blinding rain on runway 11. Seen here, on taxiway 'Tango' after vacating the active, with the new, yet to open, Terminal 3 as backdrop. Envy as well as pity the bird scarer, as he sits on the grass with an umbrella to save him from the elements.
