This photo got my attention, as I believe that I was on-board when it was taken, arriving for the 1985 Schofields Airshow from RAAF Fairbairn, Canberra ACT. My Flight Logbook shows the Date as 10Nov1985. Strange? An 'X' on the runway normally means that the marked part of the runway is Closed.
