Port side view of newly re-birthed Supermarine 369 Spitfire Mk XIV ZK-XIV Cn 6S/648269 (Original Serial NF799) taxying at the Classic Fighters Omaka Airshow on Saturday 04Apr2015. The Camo livery hides the aircraft quite well. Flown by John Lamont, the aircraft had its first post-repair/restoration test flight at 1830 hrs on 02Apr2015 at AvSpecs Ltd, Ardmore, and arrived at Omaka at the start of the Night Display on Friday 03Apr2015. This aircraft was severely damaged in an accident at Wanaka (NZWF) on 02Jan1996, during a take-off with Sir Tim Wallis at the controls. The re-built aircraft wears the camo livery of RAF South East Asia Command (SEAC).
