Ex Lufthansa registrations starting with D-AIP_ are the first -211 series of the type. First flight November 29 1990 with Airbus Industrie F-WWDN test registration. Delivered Lufthansa February 6 1991 as D-AIPX. On lease Germanwings between June 1 2003 and July 22 2004. Back to Lufthansa and after almost ten years of service at the German flag carrier, transferred to the daughter company, Germanwings again from January 31 2014. Crashed March 24 2015 near Barcelonette, in the French Apls as flight 4U 9525 enroute Barcelona Düsseldorf with 144 passengers and 6 crew. All Europe was shaken by this tragedy, my sincere sympathy to everyone affected.
