This 771 Sqn Sea King bears a legend referencing the rescue of the crew of the yacht Sine Seorra in 1992, in which the squadron conveyed the two crew to a hospital in Guernsey in an operation lasting five hours and earning winchman LAC Chambers the Air Force Cross for bravery and determination.
