While driving down Hwy 95 towards Las Vegas we encountered an airport sign which we followed. Eventually we ended up on the old runway of former Searchlight Airport. This 5040ft. long runway is in a poor condition with the overgrown vegetation coming out of the cracks so obviously not much flying activities over here.
