View of the Cockpit of RAAF CAC CA-13 Boomerang A46-124 Cn 947 at the Darwin Aviation Museum, located at Darwin Airport (YPDN), Winellie NT on 18Sep1998. A46-124 was Built by CAC in Sep 1943, and served with RAAF 85 Squadron. The aircraft was authorised for write off in May 1946 and struck off charge Nov 1948. The deteriorated fuselage was found on a property near Dalby, QLD in early 1980s. (Ref: ADF-Serials.) Coincidentally, the preserved wreckage of WWII vintage Japanese Reisen (Zero) visible at rear-left is Japan Navy Serial BII-124. Low res photo. (Pentax Espio camera using 35mm Negative film.)
