Notes:

A Blast from the Past BR226 pushes back from gate D34 for an early afternoon departure to Taipei. As usual, the flight is operated by an Eva Air's Boeing 777-300ER (77W), but this eye candy is one of three BR 77Ws adorned with the special Boeing 777-300ER Rainbow livery. This special livery was presented at the 2006 Farnborough Airshow much to the delight of spotters. It got me scrambling on the eve of the Chinese Lunar New Year in 2007 when one of these Rainbow liveried planes paid a rare visit to the Changi central apron. Subsequently from around 2010, they visited more regularly. Only memories now as the three Rainbow liveried BR 77Ws have since had their special colours removed and this beautiful livery only lives on mainly in photos, models and memory cells.
