Founded in 1928, Juhu Airport was the first civil aviation airport in India and served as the primary airport for Bombay till 1948, when ops were moved to the Santa Cruz Airport. Currently, it serves mainly helicopter and light civilian traffic (with the only scheduled operation being Meh Air’s seaplane operations).
