Notes:

IN-174 is one of the first batch of FGA.6 acquired directly from the United Kingdom and is displayed by the roadside in the Bal Bhavan compound. This particular aircraft was in Indian Navy's No 300 Squadron "White Tigers" (though by mistake the tiger logo in the aircraft was painted in yellow during repainting before putting it on display). In 1971 Indo-Pak war (Bangladesh Liberation War) this aircraft was launched from INS Vikrant for attack on Chittagong port. This Sea Hawk was donated by the Southern Naval Command in early 80s. The Sea Hawk(s) enjoyed a long & successful career in the Indian Navy commencing in 1960 and continuing until 1983. I also want to thank my friend Naveen Gopakumar for helping me in locating the aircraft.
