A beautiful view out over Los Angeles at sunset at 4:40 P.M. - immediately after takeoff from LAX on the 9.5 hour long flight to London LHR as British Airways flight BA 282. Mount Baldy, with a bit of snow on top, is visible on the far left, the Palos Verdes peninsula is visible just over the wing in the middle, and the extensive Port of Long Beach is visible above that.
