This was the last Hurricane built (1944) and was used by Hawkers as a company hack, painted overall blue and registered G-AMAU. In 1950 it was entered in the Kings Cup Air Race by Princess Margaret and flown by Gp Capt Peter Townsend. It joined the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, then at Coltishall, in 1972. It is seen here taking off for its display a RIAT 2014.
