MON9065 KRK-LGW - last charter flight of Boeing 757 for Monarch Airlines. Day after G-MONK was ferried by the same cockpit crew to BHX for storage. For the captain that was the last flight - he retired after 29 years in Monarch. Thanks for him for welcoming us on board and all the nice words. Rumors are, that after positive technical check this 757 will fly for Icelandir.
