Close cropped Night View of 1968 Vintage RAF Vickers VC-10 XV108 Cn 838, which was in Melbourne on 16Jun1972 in support of the first visit to Australia by a Concorde – G-BSST - Prototype Cn 002 (13520). The Qantas mobile stairs (without weather protection) are inconveniently parked on the apron. Another set of Qantas mobile stairs (with weather protection) were docked at the front door of G-BSST at the time.) This VC-10 was still flying in Nov2012, but was destined for conversion to scrap.
