Notes:

Here is one of the two or three active resident planes at Hancock's White Birch Airport, which lies about 150 nm NW of JFK, in New York State's wilderness region not far from the border of Pennsylvania. This view shows the "ramp" of the airport, which butts up against an impressively colorful tree line in the autumn. This 150J is privately owned and is nearly 50 years old, and still flying fine. The airport’s elevation is approximately 1900 feet, and the owners live in a trailer near the terminal during the flying season (early April to the end of October). A great little out of the way place (1200x800 pixels).
