After taking Triangle Transit an hour each way and then walking 15 minutes to the GA terminal at RDU, I got the plane I was after. RDU has 2 observation decks--one facing 23L/5R and another facing 23R/5L. The one facing 23L (the one I went to) is inside the GA terminal which is complete with a cafe and wifi. Really nice facilities and gorgeous looking plane!
