A major drawcard at the Payerne Air 14 Airshow (06-07Sep2014) was Messerschmitt Me 262 B-1a Replica D-IMTT (Marked with Werke Nummer 501244), which did a flying display at 1700 hrs on Sunday 07Sep2014. Close-cropped Front Stbd side view of the aircraft on static display at Payerne Air Base (LSMP) on Saturday 06Sep2014. The aircraft was Named the ‘Schwalbe’ (Swallow) during World War II. This New Build example had its First Flight on 12Aug2005 at Seattle WA USA, and 25Apr2006 at Manching Germany.
