This helicopter crashed in 2004 while it was supporting fire management activities near Valemount. The helicopter landed on a log pad, but shortly after touch-down the pad broke, the main rotor hit a stump and the helicopter rolled over. Luckily nobody had serious injuries. The helicopter has been renovated as an Bell 206L-4, but because it's not an L-4 originally, it's a Bell 206-3+ now. Many thanks to the pilot for the info about the helicopter, bambi bucket and hospitality!
