The helo looks like a large preying mantis from this angle. Flight demonstrations and 'Survivor Rescues' were performed by this helicopter over the three days of the WOW Airshow. (The RNZN also demonstrated this helo [same Serial number] at WOW 2010.) From late 2014, the RNZN will receive ten ‘new’ SH-3G(I) helos from Kaman, rebuilt from ex-RAN SH-2G(A) airframes which were surplus when the RAN Seasprite Project was cancelled.
