Notes:

Close cropped Head-On view of the Royal New Zealand Navy's First SH-2G Super Seasprite, NZ3601, hovering in dull conditions on Saturday 19Apr2014, at Warbirds over Wanaka (WOW) 2014. The helo looks like a large preying mantis from this angle. Flight demonstrations and 'Survivor Rescues' were performed by this helicopter over the three days of the WOW Airshow. (The RNZN also demonstrated this helo [same Serial number] at WOW 2010.) From late 2014, the RNZN will receive ten ‘new’ SH-3G(I) helos from Kaman, rebuilt from ex-RAN SH-2G(A) airframes which were surplus when the RAN Seasprite Project was cancelled.
