Called the B-26, the Douglas A-26 Invader was a twin engine light bomber and attack aircraft that used during and after World War II. The bomber first saw action in the Pacific theater during 1944. Post World War II, the aircraft was used in conflicts ranging from Korean war to Bay of Pigs invasion. The aircraft on display was delivered to USAF in 1945 and retired as surplus in March 1958. The museum added the aircraft to its collection in 2008.
