Notes:

Close-cropped rear Port side view of privately owned ex-RAF Hawker Hurricane P3351 on static display at Wanaka (NZWF) NZ 02Apr2010 (not flown at WOW 2010). This aircraft flew with RAF 73 Squadron during the Battle of France in June 1940, and was damaged several times during Service in England in WWII - which included 55 OTU, training Polish pilots. After upgrade to a Mk.II, Serial DR393, the aircraft was shipped to Murmansk Russia and most likely saw combat against the Luftwaffe. The aircraft crashed during Winter 1943 near Murmansk. Recovered by Jim Pearce, the Hurricane was bought by Sir Tim Wallis in 1992, and restored as a Mk.I in UK and New Zealand. The post-restoration flight was on 12Jan2000. Now Registered as F-AZXR, she is owned by Jan Roozen and based in Cannes France.
