Moored up for refuelling and lunch after the short transit from adjacent Meedhoo Island. This aircraft had been chartered by the President of the Maldives, Mohammed Waheed Hassan, as he was on a 3 day tour of the Raa Atoll as part of his election campaign. He was supposed to visit Meedhupparu, the island had put on a band and a welcome party, but he sadly went straight to Meedhoo so I never got to meet him. It's not a bad way to travel on your campagn though!
