“The Dune” is one of the best points for spotting of aircrafts during landing and/or taxiing on the new runway 25R / 07R. One can be reached here by bus Line 752 from Terminal 1 (To "Russelsheim Bahnhof"), leave the bus at "Tor 26" and walk along “Airportring”. After about 300m turn right, walk over Autobahn bridge and turn right again at the fire department training area. The distance from there to the Dune is about 200m. Of course one can reach by a car, the coordinates are 50.040994, 8.525723, But it is necessary to park the car a little far and walk a few hundreds meters up towards the dune. The best time for photography here: After sunrise until shortly before sunset. Enjoy !
