Notes:

This photo is full of irony, first off is the sight a SEAT (Single Engine Air Tanker) after one of the most intense thunderstorms I have ever experienced (and I grew up in the midwest!) with VERY heavy rain and pea-size hail. The second reason is that this line of storms would end up sparking the largest western Nevada wildfire in history, the "Bison" fire just to the east of Minden, NV that would end up scorching 24,136 acres of the Pine Nut mountains. In fact, once these storm clouds cleared about an hour later Tanker 893 was up fighting the fire along with two other SEATS. The last reason was this was taken on the Fourth of July, a date known for fireworks and human caused fires yet Mother Nature was the cause of the biggest "fire"work that would burn for another week.
