That signature tail with the third engine- DC-10 was the first aircraft with a straight layout central engine, unlike other trijets like the 727 which followed an S- duct design. Similar design was adapted by the DC-10's successor MD-11. Notice the reflection of the 'DC-10-30' on the elevators. Since this is my 100th shot on JP, I'll take the opportunity to dedicate this one to all my fellow spotters in Dhaka, cheers guys! And a special dedication to Karib bhai, this one's for you sir!
