First, I want to express my special thanks to Mr. Ralf Drews (The webmaster of the "Frankfurt Aviation Friends") for his recommendation about this fantastic spotting location. It's located at the perimeter road “Airportring” on the way from the airport's terminals to “Mörfelden”, above the exit of the runway tunnel, before the famous “Holiday Parking”. There is two car parking areas, left and right side of the street, about five minutes to walk. One can see here a lot of traffic: Lining up airplanes for runway 18 including the freighters from the southern cargo area at the hold point for take-off clearance. It is also a good position for take-offs from runway 25C and landing on runways 07R + 07C. Also, you can see here some of the airplanes after landing on runway 07L/25R on the way towards their parking position. The best time to photography here is during afternoon until sunset. The coordinates: 50.032445,8.520069 .
