This aircraft diverted to YYZ the day before because of one of the hydraulic systems failing, it was enroute Helsinki-Varadero as flight Finnair 1987. A spare part needed to fix the aircraft had to be flown in from Europe. It was luckily fixed January 23, early morning, and it finally departed to Varadero with some pretty frustrated passengers. Here is Finnair 1987 taking off rwy 06L in -30C temperatures. It was cool to see the Merimekko scheme too. Later in the summer of 2014, Finnair will fly to YYZ again on it's seasonal flights, with A330 equipment.
