Close-cropped Port side view of the front end of Preserved RAAF ‘Flag Ship’ C-47B A65-124 Cn 45-957, shown at the RAAF Association Aviation Museum of Western Australia at Bull Creek, Perth WA on 16Nov2013. I flew in this aircraft, the last C-47 acquired by the RAAF, in Sep 1966. I was in a group of Second Year Engineer 'Air Cadets' from No 11 Course, Diploma Cadet Squadron, who were travelling from Laverton Victoria to Edinburgh (and Woomera) on a Tour of RAAF Bases in SA. This aircraft was Delivered to the RAAF in August 1945 (Callsign VH-RGL).
