Pilot’s View of the Instrument Panel of Jeff Trappet’s CAC CA-27 Sabre Mk.32 VH-SBR A94-352 at Morwell on 07Dec2013. The aircraft was inside a hangar, when the OAT was 46 DegC! I had been involved in acquiring parts for this aircraft in 1982, and was pleased to hear that her post-restoration First Flight occurred on 21Sep2013, at Latrobe Valley Airport (YLTV), Morwell. The aircraft, Built in 1957, was First Registered as VH-SBR on 09Jun2011. Special thanks to Jeff Trappett for giving me permission to photograph the Cockpit, in heatwave conditions!
