Notes:

One of my favorite photos of the year and my 800th photo if accepted, shows "United 1882" (UAL1882) climbing off of 16L en route to Kaneohe Bay MCAS (Marion E. Carl Field) with a load of Marines that had been training at Hawthorne, NV or the Mountain Warfare Training Center in Bridgeport, CA. This is a very rare sight as RNO doesn't usually see 747s and normally anything this size would use 16R as it is 11000 feet compared to 16L's 9000 feet. 16R/34L was closed for a couple months to completely rebuild the south end of the runway between taxiways Quebec and Alpha.
