The aircraft was donated by the French Government in 1962 after completing service with the Aeronavale in the Pacific. (The Dual Control Wheels are non-standard for WWII Bomber configuration. Aircraft modified for French Navy operations.) The aircraft was moved by road to the Bull Creek Aviation Museum in 1979, where she now wears the livery of RAAF Lancaster Bomber Code JO-D, named ‘Digger’. The local OAT was 37 Deg C that day.
