Rare close cropped rear Port-side image of Avro Lancaster Mk.VII NX622 (with faded Camo livery and Code AF-C) in outdoor storage at Perth Airport on 14Jul1976, where the aircraft stayed from 1962 to 1979. The plane (shown with a clear radar blister mounted ventrally) had been donated by the French Government after the aircraft completed service with the Aeronavale in the Pacific. NX622 was moved by road to the Bull Creek Aviation Museum in 1979, where she now wears the livery of RAAF Lancaster Code JO-D, named ‘Digger’. Another Lancaster from the same production run is preserved at East Kirkby Museum England. That aircraft is RAF 57 Squadron Lancaster Mk.VII NX611 Code DX-C (Named 'Just Jane').
