Lee-On-Solent airfield seen from 1500ft as we pass over ready to join the circuit and land. Formerly RNAS Lee-On-Solent, it was first establishes as a seaplane base in 1917 during the First World War. It then became the main training establishment and administrative centre of the Fleet Air Arm. Nowadays it is open again to the public as a General Aviation airfield.
