Israel Air Force IAI Kfir C-1 709 Stored At Ben Gurion Airport (LLBG/TLV). The Kfir 709 join to First Fighter Squadron, then transferred to the The Valley Squadron.
In 1982 The Valley Squadron started to oprate Kfir C-2. The Kfir C-1 709 was transferred to The Midland Squadron. In 1983 the Kfir 709 was Leased to the U.S. Navy and served as a plane for staging the enemy squadron VF-43 base Usha, Virginia. He got there the tail number 999709, Navy serial number 163299 and carried the code "00" on the nose.
The plane ended the lease period and performed the last flight Navy service on 4/14/88, he had 920.4 flight hours and 3034 Landings.
The plane was returned to Israel and transferred for storage at Ovda Air Base. Later transferred to IAI at Ben Gurion Airport, Apparently served as a source for spare parts and then abandoned there.
