GAF built Long–nose Avro Lincoln Mk 30A A73-27 was Delivered to the RAAF in Feb 1948, and was used for Bombing and Maritime Patrol missions. This aircraft was Listed for disposal in Jan 1959, and then used on the fire dump at Mascot Airport Sydney. The nose section was rescued and Preserved at Camden Museum of Aviation NSW at Camden Airport YSCN. The stripped out Flight Deck is shown in this view, taken in Jan 1979. The collection was moved to Harrington Park, Narellan during 1979. (Museum now Closed to Public). Low res photo, scanned from a grainy Agfa CT21 35mm slide.
