It looks like a Maule, and was even built in Moultrie, GA, but this isn't a Maule. The Wright Rocket is a M7-derived experimental amateur type with clipped wings and new systems. The Maule aircraft company cooperated in the design, even supplying jigs and drawings for some parts, but the aircraft meets the FAA's 51% rule for amateur designs. This aircraft was featured in the December 2012 issue of the EAA Experimenter magazine.
